As for SC 2, you get a futuristic installation screen :
Plus a little synopsis about the storyline from the original Starcraft right up till now.Starcraft 2 is unlike any pre-Tiberium Wars RTS game that contains the infamous 'build an army and just go bulldoze the enemy base' slogan. This game highly relies on supreme micro management as almost ever unit in the game contains a special ability. So, you can't just drive the whole army of Thors to the enemy base. You will get :
1). struck by burrowed kamikaze Bannelings and Ultralisks
2). nuked by cloaked Ghosts while being distracted by Banshees
3). flamed by High Templars, Sentry and Void Ray combo
Next up, the main part which made this game worth every penny(second), this is the part that revolutionised RTS gameplay, this is the part where I fell my hours of wait is worth it - The Singleplayer Campaign.
The campign picks up directly after the events of StarCraft: Brood War. After being manipulated countless times and almost being beaten by The Swarm, Mengsk took 4 years to rebuild the Terran Dominion while the Zerg went dormant for that period of time. The game starts with Raynor in the local bar.

The first mission involves recontrolling a region in the fringe world of Mar Sara. Later, an old friend Tychus arrives, and he proposed an offer to steal an artifact from the Dominion. The Zerg soon begin their chewing in Mar Sara a short time later, and Raynor with his Raiders is saved just in time by the Battlecruiser Hyperion just in the nick of time.
Yeah baby, about dammn time !Ok, here' s where the main course is served, the point of revolution. These are the scenes of the 4 main compartments in Hyperion :
The Hyperion Bridge - Centre of operations and mission selectionsHold yer horses. "Mission selections" ? Exacta ! This is the first place in which SC 2 is different from previous RTSes. Instead of simply-follow-the-mission zombie style. You get to choose which mission goes first, earning cold-hard cash while unlocking both old and new units plus Zerg and Protoss research points in the process. Between the missions, tonnes of cutscenes and lots of mesmerising wallpapers that leave you wanting for more.
The Labroratory
The Lab, where you put the Researc Points earned from missions into good use. From improving your unit's stats to creating new units and buildings to aid you in your fight.
You trusty research console
Oh and, about this little thing here....my mom told told me not to be a spoiler.
The Armory
Next stop, the Hyperrion armory. This is the place where all the credits you earned in your missions is used to buy upgrades for your base, each individual infantry and vehicle. Well the upgrades sure drain a lot of cred, but some units are virtually imba-lised after it.
Make your choice, you might need it.
The Cantina

The CantinaFinally, the place for you to relax, and also use some of the money left to buy mercenaries, elite units with extra everything that fare well against most units. This is also the place for you to watch the UNN news ! And at last, a mini-game, that's right, in a RTS, for you to play.
The Lost Viking.....0.O !
The Lost Viking.....0.O !I guess this is all I can say..... Oh wait, there is still a Challenge section for you to hone your micro skills, and it introduces some really helpful early game strategies.
This is really an excellent game, immense graphics coupled with an interesting plot plus nice unit mangament. I hope those that played it will enjoy it. As for now, I'm waiting for GG to patch it, and also, the Heart Of Swarm and Legacy of the Void.
